Sometimes maybe you wonder why we buy certain products for the store. (Sometimes I wonder why I buy what I buy:))  But, thought it might be fun to take you into my mind as I am picking out products for you.

A special memory never dies.  This Santa brings me back to when I was a child.  I was from a family of 5 children.  Christmas was such a special time for us.  Not that we received a lot of gifts–one gift usually for each of us.  But the fun my sisters and I had was so
special.  The waking up sooo early and sneaking under the tree to see what was there for us.  We didn’t have wrapped presents.  They were just sitting under the tree for the most part.  We didn’t dare touch the gifts, only look and hope that special doll was for me.

For many years we’d bring out the aluminum tree with the colored light that shone upon it.  I know many of you have no clue what I am talking about.  But to those of you who remember, those were the days, weren’t they?  I can’t think of anything more warm and fuzzy to think of than our aluminum Christmas tree:)

But, oh the wonder as we would bring out the little Santa each year. Yes, we knew the true meaning of Christmas.  But there was just
something special about that little fat guy coming down the chimney with a toy for each of us.

Years went by, and the little man became chipped and broken and finally went the way of all good Christmas decorations. Some landfill is enjoying my little Santa right now.   But, I am just so thankful that God makes our memories so that we can enjoy the little things as much years later as we do on the day it happens. Sometimes I think I enjoy the memory more that when it happened.  I never knew how much I would enjoy life and all the people that surround me.  That includes each of you.
