Autumn in the Barn
September 9-13
Isn’t it nice to be enjoying these cooler temperatures at the beginning of August? It almost feels like that long-anticipated autumn has arrived.

And if you walked into the shop right now, you would think it has arrived. So many new things have piqued my interest, and I’m excited to see what you all think. At first, it was out of my comfort zone, but now I’m mixing the different styles of decor and loving it.

In the last newsletter, I told you I would show you my new little girl scarecrow. She just doesn’t seem to be able to scare the crows away, as you can tell by the black crow perched upon her arm.

Also, I have the new cattails staged in one area, and to me, it just screams autumn. 🍂 I remember at a much younger time in my life, I never knew people decorated for autumn. When I went to a new friend’s house, I saw all the pumpkins and leaves that she had brought in from the field, and I loved it. It made me feel so at home and so welcomed as we sat and had coffee. Such a simpler time that I long for during the rush of our busy lives now. But decorating for each season does help me enjoy the seasons more.

In my antiquing trips lately, I found this adorable little spice cabinet. I know someone will find a special spot and use it. I can’t say for sure that it is vintage or antique, but one thing is for sure—it is sweet and cute.
Also, I fell in love with the children in the field picture. It was a special find at another boutique. I think you’ll also love some of the prices on these finds.

Autumn in the barn is September 9-13. Hope you’ll put it on your calendars. And as always – looking forward to seeing you!
Blessings,
Debbie
