Just so you’ll know I’m not slacking in order to get ready for our next event, June 6,7 and 8; our Patriotic Event. What a great way to decorate for all the summer months. Nothing brings a smile to my face as quick as when I see our grand old flag, Uncle Sam, apple pie and homemade ice cream.

But first I wanted to share with you about going to help my daughter with her store space that she’s working on in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
First of all, you’d have to know my little girl, Alissa. To describe her as a vivacious, outgoing and creative would be an understatement.

I remember when she was in high school I could hire her to stage the shop, and when she was done, I could open the doors and it would be ready to welcome our precious customers. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Anyway, we took off for Tulsa to help her build a cold storage room for her fresh flowers. I’m so excited to see what she’ll become in this business. Follow her on Instagram—Chartreuse Floral.

Anyway, we, [mostly my husband and her boyfriend] got it framed and ready to insulate. Now she’ll have room for lots of flowers.💐

Love the carvings on these chairs. Can’t wait for you to see them. I’m having so much fun on upholstered projects especially since my husband is able to bring the muscle to these projects.
Retirement for him (and for me) is great!
Hope to see you at our Patriotic Event. Can’t wait to see you!
Blessings!
Debbie
