Our first Spring Open House of the season.
March 22-26

I don’t know about you, but I need a little “Happy Place” right now. With all that is going on around us, I tend to focus on what “might happen.” But then I have to focus and redirect my thoughts to living my best life possible. That would be praying for those who are experiencing horrific circumstances right now. But also remembering that we have to keep moving forward and hoping for a brighter tomorrow. And I don’t know about you, that includes having loved ones and friends over to share meals and conversations. Right now what we need is “community” to bring us new perspectives in life, as well as just plain old-fashioned fellowship with one another.

I was listening to someone the other day and they had you imagine a scenario of if you were able to go back in a time machine, where would you go? Interestingly, so many people had answered that if they could go back, they would go to a very intimate moment with someone close to them. Maybe, perhaps snuggling with their grandchild or maybe times even when their children were young.

One of the reasons I got into this business was because when my children were young we could not afford home decor, ready-made clothes, going out to eat much and so on. It’s ok because I think it made us stronger and more creative. Each year we all made crafts and sold them at many shows around the state and a few out of state. What we didn’t know was that God was preparing us for something else.

One Friday–How do you say this? We were broke. So as I searched the refrigerator as well as the cabinets and concluded that I was going to have to come up with a creative recipe for supper that night. So I looked for meat for the soup I knew we were going to have to have. The only meat I had left was hotdogs. So hotdog stew it was. To this day, my kids still gag when I mention it. My husband got paid that day and so I was excited to go to the store the next day.

So, if you feel like you’re in a desert right now, don’t believe it. God is preparing another adventure for you. And believe me, I’m speaking to myself. So stand firm and know that God is not done with us yet. He has many more adventures for us. Be strong! Don’t be afraid! Have courage and know that if you know the Lord God, He is with us!

I am excited to bring you products that, I hope, make you smile and make your home one that you are glad to bring family and friends to gather in. Flowers make me smile, both fresh and silks.

So while we are in this time, let’s look forward to making our lives and our homes beautiful. But most of all, remember the people in our lives are the most important possession we will ever have.

That’s the most important part of life that will make our homes happy.

Our first spring event of the season is March 22-26

Blessings!
Debbie
