Hello Everyone,
As I sit here writing this newsletter for this week the temps are supposed to reach 67 degrees today. Not bad for the end of January and first of February. However, as you are reading this newsletter, the temps are probably below zero and especially the wind chills are predicted to be. One thing you can depend on is that our weather has a mind of its own. And we need to roll with it.

So today I’m thinking of springtime, and tomorrow I’ll be thinking “dead of winter.” Whatever the case, I tend to get really excited about staging the store at this point in the business. There may be a foot of snow outside, but in the shop, the flowers are blooming.

Today, I want to share with you some of the new artwork we’re bringing to the shop this year.
Let’s get going with some of the new finds!

Ok. I confess. This piece of artwork is one that I just didn’t think I could live without. The other selling factor to me is that if I spent X amount of dollars I would get free shipping. And on this piece, I knew it would cost a lot to ship because of its dimensions. Never mind the fact that I fell in love with it. Yes, you could say it spoke to me. And of course, I’m passing that saving along to you, because if I order it again—it will cost a lot more.
And this piece of art is a sign that I think we all need to display for times like these. (Notice the twigs that I’ve put with it. Those twigs give this otherwise black and white sign just the right amount of drama if you are a minimalist and just want a little tweak.

I guess you could say, I really don’t buy much unless it speaks to me. True confession though, April, of the Added Touch lets me know what speaks to her and we get a good mix of what she likes and what I like. And I assure you, our likes and dislikes are not always the same.

I somehow overdid it on barns. Lots of barn pictures this year. I really don’t know why, other than my husband’s grandmother has an old barn that I can see each day just up the road. It belongs to my sister in law now, but it holds so many warm, wonderful memories of that woman.

Another piece is one that I loved the saying even though it brought tears to my eyes. These last few months it seems like all I’ve done is go to funerals.

Enough said about that–And let’s get back to living no matter how long we have. I’ve got more artwork and they are out being priced right at this very moment. Pricing is one thing I hate to do, so I have this sweet little girl with this adorable baby, pricing everything. (Just happens to be my adorable little red-headed granddaughter. )

I hope you’re all dreaming of a beautiful spring coming very shortly. I am and I can’t wait to welcome you all. Before you know it the crocus will be peeking through the snow/ground and once again we’ll know the promise of entering into a new season of beauty. No matter what is going on in the world, we can count on the seasons to come around and the sun and moon to rise faithfully.
Love to you all,
Debbie

I just love your shop and had a blast at your July sale (spent way to much) and am looking forward to your next sale.
I did see a picture “Be Strong” and was wondering the price.
Wonderful!! Can hardly wait to see EVERYTHING! Thanks so much.
Love your picks. Love Barns ❤️
I’m in love with Barns. I don’t really know why other than there’s something comforting about an old barn.
