It Feels Like Spring Is Here!

Greetings Everyone!

It’s starting to feel like spring will be happening really soon. I am anxiously awaiting all my shipments to get here.

I feel as though I need to tell you what some of my vendors have told me about why I’m not receiving my shipments the way everyone had planned. First of all it was the Chinese new year and China shut down and nothing gets done until Chinese new year is over.

Secondly the ships that brought our merchandise to the US are having big-time problems getting into the harbor to be unloaded. First of all, the dock workers are coming down with Covid and then they have to shut down everybody in the area for two weeks. Which, keep the ships from docking and being unloaded. They are just sitting out in the Pacific ocean. So there are many ships right now ready to dock with everybody’s products on it, but so few people to unload the containers.

Then they tell me that the big transport companies are being overworked, and understaffed and a lot of other issues. So—-there you have it. I’m just praying that I get a lot more product in the next few weeks.

And speaking of products, I cannot believe all the calls I got on the chair that was in my email last week. It sold within two hours of the email going out. And almost every day since there’s been people call about that chair.

So I began to be on the hunt on Saturday for another chair to redo or to just put in the shop. So I ventured to some of my favorite antique places and found this little gem. I don’t plan on doing anything to it as it is in pristine condition for the age of the product. I love the detail on this youth rocker. I can’t wait for you to see it and I think the price on it is great.

I’m working on lots of spring florals and hope you’re ready to bring spring on.

Can’t wait to see you March 23 through the 27th. This year they’ll be lots of surprises at each event as I don’t know when my products will all be here. But rest assured, I am working as hard as I can to bring you great products for the season.
