How to Decorate an Open Lantern for Autumn

It’s time to start thinking about spending more time indoors and if you can let your mind imagine what it’s going to be like to have the fireplace roaring for those crisp Autumn evenings. Time for hayrides (if only in your dreams), pumpkin patch visits and of course, a trip to Memories of Home. Don’t forget to pick up a Pumpkin Spice latte on your way out. Maybe we’ll even have some here!

And guess what we’ve got for you in this edition? Something I think you’ll enjoy to help you get ready for the coming season.

It’s time to start thinking about spending more time indoors and if you can let your mind imagine what it’s going to be like to have the fireplace roaring for those crisp Autumn evenings. Time for hayrides (if only in your dreams,) pumpkin patch visits and of course, a trip to Memories of Home.

And to kick this whole thing off, I want to show you how one of those open lanterns that some of you purchased can be decorated for the Autumn Days ahead of us. Some of you saw this similar video on Facebook, but I did a new one for all of you who don’t do Facebook. We’re going to call it “How to decorate an open lantern for Autumn.” I hope you like it and want you to know that we’d like you to come to our Autumn open house in the barn behind my home.

Where to Start When Decorating an Open Lantern

What I hear a lot is, “I don’t know where to start and what to do with all the products I buy.” Well, that’s what we’re here for. We’ll get you started and you’ll get those creative juices flowing and before you know it, those Autumn leaves will start falling and you’ll have a wonderland of your own going own in your home.

So sit back and for the next 11 minutes you can watch me in action and see all the mistakes I make and fix during this decorating video. You’ll also see the belly fat I am trying to get rid of, and you’ll also notice that I call the pumpkin that I am using in the video a lantern. Perfection is highly-overrated. But, I’m working on it! Enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed the video, “How to decorate an open lantern for Autumn.”
And we plan on having many more of these types of videos. And just to tease you a little bit, How would you like to have an online course? Sound interesting? Stay tuned.

Blessings!

Video stops playing about 2-3 minutes into video. Is there a reason? Love the podcast can’t wait for fall open house.

Hi Jean! It sounds like it was just a slow connection. This is hosted on YouTube, so it should play just fine. Do you mind trying again?
