Happy Spring to everyone–or should I say happy almost spring!

As always I like to keep you informed of things that are going on in the shop. And one of the items that has been brought to our attention is that there are a few of you that wonder about the shop’s opening. and whether I’ll be able to open it. Are you kidding me? I love what I do and it is going to take a lot more than a small surgery to keep me from shopping for incredible items for you–my favorite people. I learn so much from all of my customers and to all the interesting places that this business takes me, of course, along with my daughter April of The Added Touch.

We had another set back on my surgery that was to take place last week. While I was getting ready to be moved into the the operating room, my husband collapsed. No apparent reason that we could find, but enough to have the Doctor say we can’t do the surgery while they are trying to get my husband to the ER. The nurses in pre-op caught him before his head hit the ground so we are very grateful to these women that saw his need and were not afraid to reach out to him. We had no idea what the problem was and the only thing it points to is Syncope which is a fancy way of saying “fainted.” My almost surgery must have been really hard on him.😀

Nevertheless, I am planning to get back on the schedule for the surgery again (for the third time.) Whatever the case, I am trying to get it done far enough in advance that it will not be a problem for the events scheduled in the barn. The first spring event is March 24 – 28.

Next week, I hope to bring you some great pictures of what we’ve staged in the shop. Until then, rest assured I’m having fun getting things ready for you all.

Don’t forget! Our first Spring event is March 24 – 28!

Blessings!

Debbie
