Debbie Futhey - Floral designer at Memories of Home
Hi, everyone. April and I are back from market and it is one of the rare times that I feel like we accomplished so much. I feel like the finds that we bought are something that I am over the moon excited about.

Next week I will write a newsletter about some amazing products we have coming in for the spring summer events and also will include some of the great purchases for autumn and Christmas. But I wouldn’t want to tell you too much, because everyone likes that surprise factor.

So, I just wanted to show you how my buffet turned out. I’m also including the products are used on this project. I’m so glad to get it done. I figure the buffet is over 100 years old and it deserved more attention than I was giving it. Even my son loves it.
 So here goes!
This is the before
I used foam brushes to apply the stain.
I put three coats of the topcoat by General Finishes on the buffet, to make it more durable.
It was about time that I paid attention to my buffet  as I figured out it was probably around 100 years old.
Here’s the final product and some details!
It was fun! But, I am always anxious to get it done. Then I look back on it as fun. But the work is worth it. If you have any questions about the process, please let me know through email. I’ll be happy to help.
I can’t wait for our next event in the spring which is March 26 through the 30th so save the date. We have so many great products coming. I promise!

Blessings!
Debbie
