An Unexpected Friendship

Yay!!!! We’re going to do a special “pop up” event on May 28, 29 and 30. You all were so good at our last one day event that I thought we’d try a little bit bigger one. So, for these three days we will be offering you all the things you missed from our cancelled events in March and April. There were plenty of things I missed during those early spring days when we were “shut down”. One thing I didn’t miss, though, was watching a friendship develop between these two.

These guys moved into my home within a week of each other in January. Both of my kids were in a transition period with their housing and decided Mom and Dad’s house was a great place to stay for while. Each of them brought a dog… Admittedly, I struggled a little living in a 4 adult/3 dog house.

Then, the virus hit and we were all at home together-all the time. It actually became pretty awesome to watch these two completely different personality dogs become the best of friends. I wish I had time to tell you just how different they are from each other. Just imagine the most focused person you know married to the most laid back person in the world. That’s these two. However, they learned to “tolerate” each other’s crazy moments, and then quickly come together when they were in need of a playmate.

Well, now that some of us are going back to work, the dogs are being left alone more often. I think they are struggling being separated in different kennels. But you should see the way jump and play when we get home and let them out – It’s like tackle football.

That’s kind of the way Debbie and I feel about you all coming back to the shop. We have missed you so much, but don’t worry- We won’t tackle you. Your presence will just put a great big smile on our faces!

This blog was supposed to be about all the great clothing in the store, but obviously, I digressed. So, I’m going to just leave you with a couple of pictures of blouses that are in stock and waiting for you. (One blouse for each of the dog’s colors) 😉
