Our next Spring Event is April 12-16

Hello Friends!

Thank you all for coming out last week for our first Spring Event. As I told all of you that we have lots of new products coming in and this week I will be staging all of these products. I worked so hard last event to get the shop looking full and lush. Hopefully, at this event, all I will have to do is stage the beautiful products we’re bringing in and create new florals as examples of what I can help you create on your own.

Also, it’s the week before Easter and we have some of the most adorable pieces of clothing that would make that Easter Sunday outfit so striking. However, I know that looking striking isn’t the most important part of the season. But, you know what I mean!

We’ve also got some great Easter candy to share with your favorite people. Big ones and little ones. This one that I’m featuring this week is so awesome. I brought a sample home from market for my husband and he was so impressed that it tasted just like Cero’s famous Pecan Rolls that they made each Christmas. And for him to be impressed–that’s saying something.

A lot of you have told me that they like the personal stories that I put in the newsletters. Funny, or not so funny, I have no little stories that I can share with you this week. It seems like everything that has happened lately is so personal that I wouldn’t want to share it online.

But, I’m sure there’s something in all of your lives that is happening right now to each of you that causes you the same angst. So, we have one of two choices. We can give into worry and look on the bad side, or believe that God is in control and he knows what he is trying to accomplish during these times.

I choose to believe that even though I would not accomplish things the way God has chosen, He is in control. So I put one foot in front of the other and walk on through some dark paths, not knowing where God is taking us, but believing He is with us. I hope this will encourage you to do the same for those of you who have shared your lives and hurts with me.

I just saw a quote from “Lessons Taught by Life” that read, “Strong people know how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes they still manage to say, “I’m OK” with a smile. The smile comes not because everything is going their way, but they choose to believe that the one directing their path is good and knows what He’s trying to accomplish. And sometimes it takes a while to truly believe that.

As I am unpacking and staging all the new products I remember how grateful I am for all of you and this business. I’m thankful that many of you share your prayer requests with me and I feel as though we have become friends. That’s the beauty of this business–Your customers become your friends. I love you all!
