This window is in a basement and has another one just like it on the other side. There had never been any type of fabric treatment on these windows. The homeowner felt they needed something to soften them (especially since the view was of a concrete wall.) Since this was the only source of natural light into the room, she didn’t want to block any of that light. So, she had only considered sheers, but knew in her heart that wasn’t right.
I (April of The Added Touch) created a window treatment that didn’t block any daylight. The under lining actually reflects the light coming in. The center “pick-up” visually enhanced the height of the ceiling, making the room seem larger. The homeowner loved the contrast of wall and fabric color as this gave the windows real “pop”.

April,
Lovely! I adore the fabric you chose! The room ceiling height does appear to be much greater with this visually appealing window treatment! Thank you for sharing your creative talent with us!
Fondly,
Pat
