Hello Everyone,
Our Christmas open house event begins October 26 through the 30th. You are invited!
Anyone who knows me, knows I love the unusual. I know some people cannot stand my elves, and I get it. It took me a while to understand why I love these little things so much. They remind me of so many people I love.
It also helps that my favorite Christmas movie is called “Elf”. Every time I watch that movie I laugh so much and it does my heart so much good. I guess that’s why I like elves. They make me laugh and smile and take me back to people I’ve known in the past. These people probably would not have been classified as “beautiful people,” but on the inside they were so beautiful and brought me so much joy.
So, this year you’ll see I have a bountiful supply of elves. If you don’t like them, I understand, but give them a chance like I know you would other things.
Here’s my latest little guy, and I admit, I love him. He’s poseable and will do anything I tell him to do unlike some people.😂
I also have some on ladders that are adorable and they are busy getting ready to decorate all the Christmas trees. To me, they each have a story and a purpose just like each of us.
Maybe their purpose for the day is to make people smile and bring us into a season where our hearts are a little lighter and we are in a more frivolous mood than the rest of the year. I guess these guys just make my heart happy even for a little while.
You all know that my first priority of Christmas is Christ. My nativities are not all in yet. I’m wondering if my nativities are on the ships that haven’t been able to be unloaded yet. It’s amazing how much product can be on each of those ships. But, my vendors assure me, they will be here.
I hope each of you know that you have a purpose and a story to be told. That’s what I love about this business, while we all don’t look alike nor decorate alike, we all have our own story. And many times that story, helps us to know how we like to decorate. And I love it when you share your story with me.
Just a reminder, our Christmas open house starts on October 26 and goes through October 30. I can’t wait for you all to see what’s new and to see some of my new old favorites.
