Hello Our Wonderful Friends and Customers,
Well, it’s times like this that make us all appreciate one another so much. I am amazed every morning when I awake and am so grateful for the people who are watching out for us. I am so thankful for the doctors and nurses who are putting themselves on the front lines during this COVID-19 crisis. Being in that “age group” of people who are most at risk, it is a little scary to think of having this virus. But more importantly, I have a son who has a compromised immune system and think of what could happen to him if I do not take the necessary precautions for stopping the spread of the virus. Also, the largest demographic of our customers is “that age group.” So consequently, I’ve been asked by many different people what we are going to do about our event next week.

Every morning when I wake the first thoughts that come to my mind might cause me to panic. But this is my motto for these coming weeks, “But first, we pray.” I have taken the advice of our Pastor and used this time to reach out to people. I have so enjoyed talking to people that I have not spoken to in a while. And I just got a text from someone who told me that my call was the highlight of her day. (These are really unusual times.😀) How could my call be the highlight of someone’s day.
Yet, my son made this card for me, and it was the highlight of my day. And as I’ve looked back on it the last few days, it has been the highlight of many of my days lately.

Funny, how the little things in life become so important to us now days. Like toilet paper? Who would have ever thought so many people thought it was so important in their lives that they would hoard it. So I’ve cut back on the number of squares of toilet paper that I use and choose to devote my energies to find out how my friends are doing and not how much toilet paper I have stock-piled. However, I am saving all my catalogs if worse comes to worse.

So what are we going to do about the event?

All of the products are out and waiting for you and I promise you they will be here in April. Or May, June and July.
So first–We pray! And wait on the Lord’s timing and leading. I love you all and want the best for all of you. We would feel awful if somehow someone was infected in our shop.

It is because of this that we have decided to cancel the event for the month of March. We want the best for all of you and that is how we’ll know that you are all protected in case someone is infected and does not know it. You are our first concern. We promise all of this stuff will be here in April and we’ll have a fantastic event in April.

And with more meaning than ever – we can’t wait to see you!
Blessings,

So sorry you have to cancel. We were looking forward to seeing you. Que sera sera. One daughter is a teacher and her life is uncertain right now and one daughter is a nurse practitioner in oncology so her patients are all immune compromised. So life is definitely full of prayers for all right now. Thinking of you and yours . Blessings to all as we move forward. God will get us through this too.
Love Sarah ❤️
Sarah, My prayers are with those doctors and nurses. And, I know the teachers have had to adapt to educating those students online. What a feat! Blessings to all. You stay in and stay safe.
Thank you for your sweet, encouraging words. I love your collections for each season, but I especially love your example of faith. God be with us all during this time.
Judy, I can’t tell if my response to you was posted. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I truly am looking so forward to opening up again. God has shown me how much I miss all of you at this time.
I will miss coming to your event but completely understand the reasons for postponing it. Love your shop!
Thank you so much Sandy. We miss you! Stay in and stay safe. Right now it seems our age group is a little more fragile than normal.
So glad you are all well, and postponing the show!! I was not able to come in March, and now I may
make it to the next time you have it.
Tis was a great day too.
Love and prayers,
Kris – Pratt
Kris, thank you for your kind words. I don’t think we’ll probably be able to have the event in April, but hopefully in May. We will make it longer than normal. Stay safe and stay well.
Debbie
Save my picture for me, as where I work we may go on Lockdown. As I do want it. Thank you. Everyone is in my prayers, is in God’s Hands
Linda, I have your product safe and sound. I did not see your comment until now. Praying for the doctors and nurses daily. I know you must be exhausted. Blessings!
Thinking of you as you care for people. You are in my prayers!
