Hello Everyone!

Well, I definitely think spring has arrived in Kansas. Temperatures are warming, trees and flowers are blooming, and all the allergies that go with that are present also. Debbie and I went out to see the tulips blooming at Wichita Botanica this last weekend. Of course, they were beautiful. There are so many variations of color in nature, and I love them all.

One of the fun things I noticed, outside of the plants, were the spring dresses that some of the girls were wearing. We were there early in the morning, so because I am cold blooded by nature, I was wearing a sweater. However, the cool morning temperature didn’t seem to matter to everyone. I saw some really cute colorful, spring-like outfits on some women. (It made me wish my sweater was more colorful.) I know my closet is full of warmer season clothing, but I do plan to add a few of the pieces that are new into the shop this month. Let me introduce you to a couple.

To start with, the colors on this dress and blouse are exactly what should be worn in the spring. Wear them to a luncheon with friends, or a walk on the beach, or just anytime that you want to feel special. (The yellow blouse is a crinkled gauze, which of course means, no ironing–and who doesn’t love that?)

This black and white polka dot was something I fell in love with at Market in January. I’m so glad it’s finally here! Add white pants or shorts, of course. But why not wear red or yellow bottoms with this too? I’m definitely going to.

For those of you who are color averse, don’t think I forgot you😉 This black denim dress/tunic is so soft and comfortable. Just throw on a pair of sandals or tennis shoes and you’re good to go. It took me awhile to get used to the idea of sneakers with a dress, but I am completely on board now. There are so many cute footwear options nowadays!
