If it Makes You Smile, That is All That Matters!

Hi Everyone,

Stepping out of the shop today and feeling the blast of hot air across the lawn has me so excited for the arrival of fall.

Have you ever walked into a room and realized it just makes you happy? If so, then you know exactly why we decorate. Most of the time, it’s not for anyone else—it’s just for you. If it makes you smile, that is all that matters. You are the queen of your castle! My best piece of decorating advice is to buy what you love, and you will always find a place for it. And you will smile every time you see it!

As promised, I wanted to share some pictures of our new arrivals and latest creations. A shipment of fall and Christmas items arrived last week. We have priced everything, and I am currently working on embellishing many of the pieces, with much more still on the way.

Autumn has always been one of my favorite seasons, especially since the summer heat can be so draining. I am looking forward to cool, crisp days, and they can’t come soon enough.

Here are a few highlights from the new collection:

– The Toolbox: When creating this piece, I envisioned it sitting on a countertop—maybe yours!

– The Pumpkin Man: This little guy was in my recent shipment, and I couldn’t help but make his hat a little fancier. He is sure to make you smile.

– Kansas Florals: Looking out at the countryside, flowers always bring me joy. I guess it shows that I’m a true Kansas girl.

– Ceramic Pitcher: I found this antique ceramic pitcher and immediately fell in love. It screamed autumn to me, so I brought it to the shop and filled it with wonderful fall florals.
