Hello, Spring!

Well,-it just didn’t seem right to say in my perky voice, “Happy Spring!” Even though we have so much to be grateful for. It just doesn’t seem happy in a lot of ways. However, I refuse to give into being depressed and ungrateful for all that we do have. I never thought that I would be so elated to come home from the grocery store this morning and be so grateful that most everything I had on my list was in store. If we weren’t able to get what we wanted before all of this corona virus stuff had started we would probably never patronized that store again. Now we are elated when we get what we want at the store. And yes, I was so grateful as I drove home. I was even able to pick up ketchup and barbecue sauce for my little grandson who has been out of it for a while. That would make it worth it alone.

This is what I’ve been doing—Enjoying my time with hubby. I’ve tried to hire people to do this project but to no avail. So here we are! Yay!! I just love to sweat.🤪

Funny, how in the matter of days things can change our focus and make us appreciate the many things we have taken for granted. I had a thought Sunday afternoon. I thought, wouldn’t it be nice to have a family dinner every Sunday evening? I can remember the days where every Sunday we had a big dinner and everyone was here. Now I know how wonderful that was. And yesterday evening, one of my daughter’s texted me and told me how much she missed me. That meant so much! Oh, how I wish that it were always like that. Our lives have become so busy that we didn’t know how much we would miss something until it was gone.

Hopefully, it won’t be forever, but let’s hope it does change us for the good, forever.
