Hello all my sweet email friends!
We just returned from market last week and as always, we are pumped full of new ideas just waiting to happen. But of course, the new ideas take a lot of time and we can’t wait to get started.
We’re always excited to see what the colors for this coming year or what will be popular. We were surprised but excited to see that so many items were in the brown tones. I just love it in the Christmas and winter season because it fits the season so well. The browns look so beautiful with time and I can’t wait to share a few with you.
Right as we got off of the escalators on the main home décor floor, it just kind of hit you in the face all of the browns that were around. And what was even more exciting were the complementary colors that they use with the brown tones. The ribbon made everything look so luxurious. Of course after seeing all the beautiful browns, I wanted to start on making these products for Christmas right away. However, we do have spring and summer to get through.😊
And one of the most exciting purchases I made was this adorable horse. I had seen it an advertisement for Market previously. I was on a mission. I was not going to leave Market without purchasing the horse. I knew it had to be a higher dollar than I’m accustomed to spending, but it was just one of those had to have purchases.
On more of a not so great note, the prices for everything were higher. But, being the brilliant women and men that you are, I am sure in the present climate you are expecting it.
April and I work tirelessly to get some of the best promotions that the vendors are running as well as sale items that we know you’ll love. Believe me, when we get to our hotel room each night we put on our jammies and we are ready for bed. There’s even times we eat our supper in bed. Especially leftovers from the night before.
Next week, I’ll share some of the spring/summer items we purchased. Our vendors are noncommittal as to what to expect as far as shipping or shipping delays. They are hoping for the best just like we are. On a hopeful note, I am already starting to get some of my spring/summer merchandise. Sometimes I wish we didn’t have to wait so long to open up again in March. But I want to make sure that we have an incredible event for you. I want it to be worth it to you to come out to my barn/store to be awe-inspired.
