I Suppose You Could Say I love Lights

Hello Everyone,

As I sit here with a blank canvas, I always wonder what will be of interest to all of you. There’s just so much going on here at the shop that I really don’t know where to begin. I am thrilled that I just received most of my lamps that I ordered at market in January. Not all of them, but a large majority.

I know that I’ve told you this before but I had a friend once tell me that she thought I was in love with light fixtures. Truth is, she’s right! I think light fixtures add so much interest to the room. Those light fixtures can bring your room to a whole new level. When I order light fixtures, I’m not thinking of the amount of light this product will put out. I’m thinking of it as a piece of artwork that just happens to transmit light into a room. So no generic light fixtures for me. They’ve got to make a statement.

Now on the other hand, my husband only thinks about the amount of light that will be in the room. He’d be OK if we hung a “shop light” in the middle of the room. Nothing wrong with that, huh? Well now you know. The saying opposites attract is playing out right in this household. I’ll let him decorate his barn and I’ll decorate the house and my barn. We’re both good with that.

When I open on March 23, you’ll see lots of florals that will take you through the spring and summer months. I’m even making some “pink” wreaths this year. I’ve always loved pink but my mother told me redheads should never wear pink. So, I never did. Now I wish I had. My sister posted this on Facebook. And it just lifted my spirit so much.

But I digress…

Please mark your calendars for our first spring event March 23-27. We are so excited with all the products that are coming in and we’re looking forward to having new products for each event. You won’t want to miss even one.
