Autumn is here! We are busy preparing for all our events here in the shop and away at other shows. We will be at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, Arkansas during the Ozark Fall Festivals October 16-17. Some of you head to the War Eagle show and we are not too far away from that. So, if you are in that area enjoying the season, stop in and see us.

Otherwise, we hope to see you back at our shop during our October 21-25 event. We will be introducing our 2014 Christmas décor and more!! Excitement and anticipation are already in the air.

While you are counting down the days to this event, you might be interested in this recipe that we treated you to during our September event. You might remember that you had the choice of two snacks, caramel corn (homemade) and Chex mix. I know those of you with a sweet tooth chose the caramel corn because you thought the other choice was pretty “normal”. Well, you know we tend to like the “unexpected”. What you might not have known, if you didn’t ask, was that the Chex mix was a Fall flavor of cinnamon, orange, and cranberry.

(Now you wish you would have chosen that snack instead, right?) Well, those of you who did choose it have been asking for the recipe over and over. So, today, I am including it in this post. Don’t work, I am not changing this to a food blog…Just treating my friends to something special. Treat your family and friends to this and then to your beautiful homes filled with décor purchased from Memories of Home & The Added Touch. Don’t forget to come see us October 21-25. Enjoy the season and this treat!
