Just wanted to let you know how excited we are about bringing antiques into the store.  There’s just something calming about remembering years gone by.

One of the trends we’ve noticed at market in the last few years is how designers are bringing antiques (good antiques with character) into homes that otherwise might be considered sterile and cold.  I’ve seen it done to soften up a contemporary room and I love it.

I had a customer once tell me that she decorated with a traditional flair.  “You know”, she said,” boring in other words.”  I don’t consider traditional decorating boring and especially when you bring in those antiques that you love.  Makes me think of my grandma.  I can just smell the peach cobblers she used to make when I see an antique that reminds me of her.
