Happy New Year!!!  The holidays were wonderful and now it’s time to move on.  Forget all the bills that are coming in and enjoy the
beginning of the new year as much as you enjoyed Christmas.

While we were having our Christmas party for Memories of Home, we asked the waiter to take a picture of all of us that make things
happen here at Memories of Home.  It was fun to see us together as a group and I thought it would be nice to tell you what each of us does for the business.  Remember, most of these people get paid nothing for what they do for me.  I can usually trade them out with a little babysitting from grandma for their adorable children.

From left to right–First most of you recognize my wonderful partner and daughter, as April.  She’s the one that is the business–The Added Touch and brings you all of the beautiful window treatments as well as so many other home decor items.  She tries to keep me focused on one thing at a time.  Believe me, that is quite a job.  Second is Carrie–She’s the one most of you have never seen here at the store. She takes care of all the web issues and emails.  She also is a professional blogger in Colorado Springs, Colorado  www.springsbargains.com.  Then there’s Wendy—She’s the one who edits and corrects the spelling, typos or grammar in my emails.
(She has to do very little correcting—smile.) She keeps very busy in her business as a very accomplished pianist and composer.  You could check out her website at www.ComposeCreate.com.  Next, is me, Debbie.  If there is anything that goes wrong on the website you can probably blame it on me.  I’m the creative part, not the business side.  Then there’s Alissa on the end–She’s our wonderful photographer and chief criticizer of all that we do.  Her website is AlissaFuthey.com.  She keeps us abreast of all the latest fashion trends and stuff like that. And trust me, She is like Donald Trump, only with better hair!  I am just glad she doesn’t have the authority to hire and fire like Donald.
The next picture, of course, is my wonderful husband who really does make all of my dreams come true.  He is my bookkeeper, carpenter, picture hanger and anything you can think of to do person.  And the great thing is he does it without complaining.   (Most of the time)


In the upcoming weeks we are going to share with you some inexpensive updates and decorating projects.  We are excited not only to do the projects, but to share them with you.
