Hello, everyone!
It’s great to be back in Kansas. (At least I think!) We just got back from a vacation unlike any we have taken before! We were gone 8 days. Never in our entire life had we ever been gone that long. Our children were shocked when we told them we what our plans were. I don’t think we’ve ever been away for that long, ever!

We went to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Then we went through Colorado and visited our adorable grandchildren. And, of course, my daughter and son-in-law.

It was 57 degrees when we woke up in the morning. And the days were so cool. I wore a jacket each day I was there. All day long, I wore my jacket. It felt like Fall. And of course, when it feels like Fall, it makes me think of our Autumn event we have coming on September 6 – 10.
The flowers in Colorado were so beautiful. And one beautiful evening, as we were dining outside near Breckenridge, we had a visitor fluttering in the flowers. Can you see the beautiful hummingbird?

Also, I loved to see the grandchildren do their chores every morning. They worked so hard keeping their home clean. It brought me so much joy to see how they have their responsibilities to care for their family. I also love how they have become so resourceful where they live. Their land had so many trees on it and they had to clear some of them out. Look what they built with some of the logs on the land.

When my kids bought this house, I thought they were crazy. There was so much to be done and all I could see was a money pit. Well, yes, it was a money pit, but they have turned it into something so beautiful, and next week I’ll send you some pictures.

But, in the meantime, I have a lot of shipments coming in and products to make. So, I’ll tell you about the house next week.
So, would you please mark your calendars for our next event September 6-10. And next week, I’ll show you some of the house they bought and what they’ve done to it. I’ll also share a recipe with you for some ice cream I made with the grandchildren. So easy, and I think you’ll love the taste! If you have children at home, it’s easy enough you can make it with them.
Have a great week and I’ll talk to you next week!
Debbie
