Find a Little Joy in Every New Day

Hello Everyone,

I’m sitting here looking out my window watching the clouds dissipate and the sun trying to come out. I feel like that is exactly the way this last year has felt. A year ago, we were all ready to see you at our first Spring event. We had the shop all set up and in bloom with pretty spring colors and then…Well, you know what happened. It’s looking like things are getting better now though-the sun is trying to shine. I love the saying, “Find a little joy in every new day.” Hopefully, you will find that joy when you are able to visit our shop this spring.

Of course, my favorite way to find joy is to dress for it. When I looked for clothing at market this year, I decided to just bring in “happy” choices. “Happy” means something different to each of us, I know. To some of you, “happy” means bright, cheery, colorful. That’s what I think about these options.

To some of you, “happy” means try something new and different. So, yes, I did bring in a romper and some wider leg pants. I’m anxious to see what you think about them.

And, to some of you, I know that “happy” simply means comfortable, easy to wear. So for you all, I have a couple of no-iron, no-cling, dresses that are longer, loose fitting, and can be worn with a cute kimono, jean jacket, and even tennis shoes. Along with that easy to wear idea, I brought in a lot of new jewelry that mixes metals or is neutral enough to be worn with just about anything.
