I wanted to keep you all up to date on the progress we’re making and to also tell you, that even though we have lots of construction going on at this time, we plan to have our next Christmas Open House Event on October 22 – 26. Yes, we’ve added the extra day so that you can have more time to get out here. Don’t worry about being low on merchandise. I have plenty. I ordered enough, thinking that my new workshop/shop would be ready. So I ordered double the amount of merchandise. One thing I did not anticipate, was the rain has slowed us way down. So more products for you all. Yaaaaaay, I think.
Well, here she is. Today, they are working on getting the cement poured. It is exciting, but I know there is so much to do. And of course, this is our busiest time of the year. So, we don’t have as much time to devote to getting the new workshop/shop ready. We’re too busy taking care of the business of getting ready for the events and shows. It will get done, just not on the time table I had wanted.
I promise more pics of the shop next week. Right now, I have to get the place presentable for you all. Not a pretty sight right now. But, please mark your calendars for October 22 – 26. It will be here before you know it.
And incidentally on Friday, October 25, at 3 p.m., I’m doing two demonstrations on how to get the designer look for your Christmas tree and mantle. We’ll see if that is something you’d like for me to offer in the future at the shop.
