Hi, everyone. Once again, I have to apologize for being missing in action for a few weeks. If it’s not one of us, it’s the other one of us here in this business that has fallen on tough times.

Two weeks ago, my husband fell off a ladder and was hospitalized for a little while. He has been in an incredible amount of pain, but right now I think we are making progress. He still has six more weeks of wearing his body brace and then we’ll see what happens. I’m only seeing the best for him. And yes, hopefully, he’ll be back hitting those golf balls as well as he’s ever been. Plus, I’ll get more work for the business out of him.😂

He’s been a pretty good patient, but we’ve had to do a lot of things for him of which he hates. He’s never had people do anything for him before, so this is a new experience for not only him, but all of us. He broke his back in another place three years ago, but the pain that time was not near what it has been this time with three vertebrae broken.

I don’t think I got to share with you last year. What my daughter who has the business in Tulsa, Oklahoma, “Chartreuse Floral” did for Her sisters and I for Mother’s Day last year. This year she gave me a beautiful flower arrangement and it made me remember the beauty of what she did last year for all of us.

She pampered us with so many Niceties. Her charcuterie boards are so amazing. I love to see it on the table as it added so much beauty and color. I only thought flowers did that.😂

Then she treated us to a wonderful gluten-free dessert at her favorite bakery. Pavlova was the name of it, and it had the most delicious lemon curd in the middle of it.

My Daughters and I enjoyed the whole time immensely.Even though this year was different as all my girls were out of town, and my husband was still not feeling well, just reliving the memory of that special time made my Mother’s Day this year so special.

Life brings so many different situations for us to grow from. I am so thankful that God has used my family to help me grow in my faith as well as grow in my different callings. As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and business owner, I thank the Lord from the bottom of my heart for all the people he brings into my life. You all give me so many reasons to be grateful!

(my daughter, Carrie, is missing in this photograph as she lives in South Dakota)

I look forward to seeing you in July for our annual Summer Sale July 9, 10, and 11.

Love to you all!
Debbie
