Hello, all. I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful, snowy weather from the Arctic. As I look at it, it is so peaceful, and I’m enjoying this rest that I’m getting.

Thank you to all of you who have reached out to me and wished me well, as well as to offer to do things for me. Most of all, thank you all for praying. You all have been so supportive, and I’m so grateful.
I suppose I need to update you on how I’m doing. My physical therapy is going great, and I’m doing all that I’m supposed to be doing at home by exercising and also doing brain exercises.

One of the things I’ve been concerned about is that I would not be as creative as I used to be. My husband reassures me that I will be. So if he says it, it must be true.😊 In my devotions, the Lord showed me this verse, and it encouraged my heart so much: Jeremiah 20:11, “ But I know the plans I have for you,” Declares the Lord, ” Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

My physical therapist told me that it will take one year for my brain to completely heal. Ugh! I do know that in the afternoons and evenings, I am exhausted, and I am even taking naps in the afternoon. It feels nice, sometimes, but I really would like to get back to—-go, go, go.
However, my husband and I talked about it and we really think it would be easier to do a show for three days than it would be for me to try to get a ton of products ready, priced, staged, and so on here at the shop. So, we’ve decided to do Vintage Market Days. That’s going to be March 13–15.

I’m excited to get some products ready. I just know that I can’t do a full shop right now.
This past weekend, I decided to finish a project I had started before my stroke. I felt a sense of accomplishment, but I was surprised at how tired I became, just doing the one product.

At any rate, I hope we’ll see a lot of you people at Vintage Market Days in March. I hope to get quite a few florals ready for spring and have them at Vintage Market days.

I miss you all and can’t wait to see you again.
Blessings,
Debbie
