Happy New Year to you all! I’m so sorry that I did not send you a Christmas greeting, but when I tell you later in this newsletter why, I’m sure you will understand.

I want to thank you all, especially those in the fourth quarter who purchased from Memories of Home and made my fourth quarter sales so good. And also in the first second and third quarter I thank you faithful customers who came out even when you may have been a little shaky about where the economy was headed. Believe me, I was shakey also.

As many of you know, in 2024, I suffered a stroke in late December. I was able to have a complete recovery in probably six weeks. I am so thankful that I had such good physical therapy.
However, I suffered another stroke this past December, 2025, and it was somewhat more serious. I have had to relearn to walk, learned a lot about sequential order, as well as retrain my brain in sight reading. I really do believe I’ve made quite significant progress with the help of many prayers and the Lord. I am so grateful for what he has done in the way he has created our amazing brains and bodies.

(I’ve always hated word finds, but guess what? I’m doing then now.)
I have had to relearn walking as well as had to relearn how to walk up steps and many other skills that I had lost. I have had fun relearning to March, but have not tried skipping yet. I think I’ll wait a while on that and walking backwards.
However, during Physical Therapy, as they were spotting me, they did have me walking backwards after I first learned to walk again. I had such incredible therapists And so thankful that they worked so hard with me.

And as most of you know about me I don’t give up easily. While during the first part of 2026, I really do need to concentrate on regaining strength, I do plan on getting back into the business as soon as I feel up to it.
I promise I will keep you all informed. If you think about me, I would appreciate your prayers. You all are such wonderful customers.🥰
Blessings,
Debbie
