Patriotic Event June 5,6, and 7
Where did the month of May go? Here we are at the end of the month, and it’s already time for our Patriotic event.
My daughter did a special Mother’s Day luncheon. And as usual, she really knows how to make people feel pampered. This was the place setting at each of the places. And each part of the table had a charcuterie board. I’m just not used to such special treatment. But it was sure nice.
Then she had a friend who owns a darling bakery make special desserts for us. Now I have a new favorite—Pavlova. It was so beautiful and elegant. I wish you all could have tasted it.
We just returned from a short trip to South Dakota to visit some of the grands—and of course my daughter and husband.
And today we went to help our daughter in Tulsa move her business. Whew!!! We are really tired but are looking forward to our Patriotic Event June 5,6 and 7.
