I can’t believe that I’m telling you that next week will be our Christmas open house – – October 22–26.

As I’ve started staging things for the Christmas season, I think to myself why was I so focused in my buying of angels? There were just too many options this year, and when that happens, I end up with what seems like thousands.

I remember one year April, of The Added Touch and I, together bought around 300 snowman. Yes, that’s right 300.

Believe it or not, we got rid of all of them that year. That was when we were doing lots of shows. We did learn our lesson there and communicated a little bit more about what we were buying on future buying trips.

However, I am hoping that this is a good year for angels. I’ve also got different styles of nativities and they seem all to go well together.

And of course, I’ve got my Santas on antiques as well as elves in Vintage and Antique Containers. It’s so much fun to create these items.
