The Sweetest New Furniture in Store!

Oh my, how time flies. Can you believe it? Next week is our second open house of the spring season. April 16 through the 20th.

I don’t think I’ve told you about the furniture I purchased when I was in Texas at First Monday Trade Days. That flea market is such a huge market. As a matter of fact, they say it’s the biggest one in the world. It’s in Canton, Texas and we’ll probably make another trip back there sometime this year.

I love this table that someone REloved for me. It was already painted, and the top must have been a newly constructed one. Either that or the person took all the paint and varnish off clear down to the wood. At any rate, I loved it and thought— you are coming home with me.

Then I purchased this little child’s desk, which will be great for displays or it might work great for a little grandchild. The chair is high enough to fit the tall desk. I thought it would make an adorable plant stand for someone. I think it’s so much fun to use the unusual in decorating.

And speaking of using the unusual, I thought this table from probably the 1950s would make another adorable plant stand either on a patio or a sunroom. (It sounds like I have plant stands on my mind doesn’t it?) It was just too cute to pass up and it’s under $20.

Also, I sold this pillow last year, but it sold so quickly that I thought I would bring it back again this year. I thought it looked great with the chair I just finished. Oh the possibilities with this chair!

I think I also forgot to mention this last time, but one of the runner-ups in the “What sold the best category” are my swans. I only have one left, but one of the women who bought one of the swans brought me a picture of what she had created with it. It’s sitting on her dining room table with an abundance of beautiful flowers flowing out of it. She did a great job. 👏

Can’t wait for you to see the new products as well as what you’ll do with them. I am so proud of all of you and the way you are using all these pieces to decorate with. I’m sure you’re getting lots of compliments.
