Where is the time this summer going?
Man, it was just seemingly yesterday that we celebrated Mother’s Day and now we’ve already celebrated Father’s Day. In just a week or so will be celebrating the Fourth of July and everyone knows after the Fourth of July the summer is half gone.
April and I leave for Dallas this week and we will be going to market. It’s always a fun, yet grueling time as we finish buying our Christmas products and also pick spring products for 2024. It’s fun but it is high-stress.

I am always thankful that April is with me to give a second opinion about my choices. We are pretty honest with each other, and sometimes brutal. If we don’t think it will sell, we let each other know. Sometimes we listen to the other, and sometimes we don’t. It’s gotten me into trouble a lot of times.

And then, as we arrive home, I start my annual big granny camp for only six of my grandkids now. The others have aged out. I knew that would happen, but I am grateful for the great adults they have become.
I promise to take lots of pictures of our market experience and will share them with you, hopefully, next week.
Until then, I look forward to our warehouse sale and seeing so many of you. Thank you to all who came out to our patriotic sale. I loved talking with you and listening to your plans for the summer.

Remember – our warehouse sale is July 13, 14, 15. Looking forward to seeing you snag some early Christmas presents as well as fun items for yourself. I know, I know we all don’t need anything, but it sure is fun to brighten our homes and our lives with new little treasures that make you smile.
Talk to you later,
Debbie
