Galentine Event

Hello Friends!
Well, I’m off to a great start! The dates of the “Galentine Event” were wrong in my last newsletter. Hopefully, I can get it right this time. February 9, 10, 11. Don’t know what happened on that, but it’s corrected now.
And speaking of that, I’m getting excited as I’m making plans for a fun time. This is not going to be about love for our husbands or beaus, it’s going to be about celebrating each other and just enjoying a pre-spring day with candy, baked goodies, and who knows what else? It’s time for you to schedule your own play day and come have fun and play for a day with your girlfriends and like-minded decorators.
One thing I’ve always enjoyed doing is teaching classes to help women, first of all believe that they can be creative as well as teaching them where to start. So around 2 o’clock every day of the event we’re going to make something special. At Christmas time I had my granddaughters make a bear created from a hand towel. It was fun for them. Some caught on quickly and others took a little bit, but they all got it done. The funny part about it– I was the one that had the most trouble. This little bear would be cute as a package decoration on a baby gift as well as a special little favor to your granddaughters or grandsons. We’ll make these into “Galentine Bears.” Let your imagination run with these ideas. This activity is meant to have fun with a no-judgment zone built around our project!
As you can see they all turned out differently. And guess what? I’m already receiving lots of my spring shipments. This is a far cry different from last year. So no worries about not having products in. They are arriving daily. Just received these new tables this week. I can’t wait to decorate with them!
Of course we’ll have all kinds of specials going on in the store. It’s never too early to start thinking about spring. I’ll have lots of specially marked products anywhere from 20-50% off all over the store.
So mark your calendars for a new and special event we’ll be having at the shop in my barn. We can’t wait to see you and we’ll all dream together of warmer days ahead.
