Hello All of you!

Excitement–Our events are getting closer. Our event here at the shop in the barn will be September 8-12. And yes, we are excited to see all of you. The anticipation of the fall months conjures up so many exciting times with cooler temperatures. Adapting to the changes not only for the upcoming season but also to our lives right now can seem a little daunting. However, we’ll make it and there will be fantastic times ahead.

My husband and I are both very hard at work getting some new projects ready for the events in the coming months. It keeps us busy and working towards a goal. Maybe your goal is to provide a home for the upcoming months that you just want to provide a safe and beautiful place for your visitors to relax in. We’re here to help.

And speaking of fun times ahead—just to add a little taste of getting things back to normal—we’re doing The Market at Stone Hill Barn. It’s a relatively new show, but we had as great time as vendors there last year. It’s just fun to be out in the country in a barn and to be able to look at and talk to human beings. And actually, it gives us inspiration as well as a reason to get up every morning. It’s this Friday and Saturday, 8/28 and 8/29. Here’s the link to it.

April will be there with her clothes from her business, The Added Touch, and her booth will be right next to mine. We’ll both have some great–Good Buy Summer- prices.

The Market will be doing temperature checks as you enter the buildings and encourage people to wear masks if they cannot maintain a 6 foot distance between people –except for incidental passing between customers.

Which brings me to a matter that someone brought to my attention and feels it needs to be addressed. I LOVE YOU ALL! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE know that. This will be hard for me to ask, but the State of Kansas asks that I ask you to wear a mask in my business. Especially since it may be hard to social distance in my aisles. I know we all have strong opinions on this subject. But, I do want to stay in business. When we were shut down like we were in the spring, it was very difficult. Please, pretty please, I’m begging you to understand. Also, it will help me, as well as all small businesses if we just do it for now.

Enough said! And I know you all are great people and I hope you know your business means the world to me. So I look forward to seeing you (Or you eyes) at the Autumn Event September 8-12

And here’s a little slideshow for you!

Love and blessings to all.
Debbie
