Spring is on it’s way. I know this because my Lenten rose is blooming. I have this lovely promise of spring planted in what most of you would think was an inconspicuous place in my garden. However, as I look out my back door, I know just where to look for it. Just under our largest shade tree, where nothing else seems to thrive, this plant pops it’s head up from under all the fall leaves that weren’t raked away. It’s so much fun for me, year after year, to watch for this sign of the season to come!

It’s also fun for me to have all the new clothing coming into the store. These two pieces are going to be great for the fluctuating temperatures that always accompany the change of seasons. This long blouse with the lace hem is a take off of an oxford shirt. It’s a feminine, pinstripe chambray, loose fit blouse that will be so versatile this season. I am anxious to wear it with white jeans and sandals. The solid navy blouse has white and black counterparts which are staples for any smart shopper’s wardrobe. Wear it with colored or patterned pants and you will be in vogue.

For all of you whose closet it full of black and white clothing, here is something new for you to add. Black, white, and lace…it’s a classic. As you can see, just adding a bit of color into the black and white makes things just a little perky. The multi-color tunic is easy wear, no iron, and flattering. It is available in plus size, also.

These are just a few of the new pieces that I am excited for you to see in the store. Purses and jewelry are also arriving. The whole shop is full of new arrivals of home décor that I just know will inspire you to welcome Spring into your home! Don’t forget to mark your calendars!
