I was talking with a client/friend the other morning and she conveyed something to me that really made me stop and think.  She was talking to her great aunt about decorating and her dear aunt told her that at some time in your life you just don’t need anymore.

I thought about it, and I really didn’t relish the thought of not having anything that was really special to me.  And then I thought of the assisted living centers I had been to, and all the clients had something on their walls or in their rooms that kept them connected to the world in which they lived– their loved ones– or the special memories the Lord had given them in their lifetime.

So while we may not need anything else, God is so good to give us such special gifts that evoke a feeling of passion for life.   And most of our memories are evoked by memories of home.  Hence, that’s how we got our name—Memories of Home.
